  1. Race Registration is on the day at Symington Sports Centre – just off the main road between Lanark and Biggar. Please register before 1.30pm (the hall is no more than a 10 min drive to the start).
  2. Park at the foot of the hill with consideration for the residents.
  3. Although on good paths, the race follows an unmarked course that crosses ground above 2000 feet.
  4. In November conditions on the summit of the hill can be very different from conditions at the start. BE PREPARED. If required to do so by the race organiser, you MUST carry full waterproof body cover and a whistle. Ignoring such a requirement is not only cheating but could jeopardise your safety in the event of an accident.
  5. If you retire from the race you must inform a marshal before you go home.
