My name is Steven Garrett and I am looking for a couple of runners for the Scottish Islands Peaks Race in May. The boat is a 28ft trimaran called Blue Chip and competes in the class 1 event. So far the team has had a pretty good record in this race with the lowest finish 3rd overall in all the entered races since 2005. Unfortunately the race was stopped in 2007 due to adverse weather, and we did not finish the course last year for the same reason. My usual runner is unable to compete due to injury so I am looking for two capable people to run as part of the Blue Chip team. Preferably people who have entered this race before due to the arduous nature of the event.
