Other Training

Route varies but usually includes a run over Salisbury Crags then a gentle run up the tourist path to the summit of Arthur Seat, followed by a loop around the subsidiary tops and run down to Dunsapie loch and over the wee hill behind it. The route is finished off with a gentle climb over Whinny hill to return down past St. Anthony's chapel, and just to make up the 7 tops we finish with a wee climb up Haggis Knowe.

Allow at least an hour from most city centre offices. The pace is usually that of the slowest, unless it's the week of one of the ad-hoc handicaps, when it's flat out for a mass finish at 1pm.
