Hungry Snout Handicap – Wed 14th July, 7pm - NEW - Two different routes - Short and Long!
The Hungry Snout Handicap is on Wed 14th July, with a 7pm start. The start point is the same as last year, the car park at the sailing club, Whiteadder Reservoir. The race is a new extended 8.5km route, taking in Spartleton Hill and Gamelshiel Castle. For those who prefer a shorter route (or arrive late), the 6km route of last years race can be run as an option. The races will be handicapped to finish together, so your finish position will still determine your points score. To encourage you to run the new improved route, all finishers of the long route will receive a special edition ‘Hungry Snout Ale'.
